Contribute to the refresh of the Rail Technical Strategy

 

RSSB, Network Rail and UKRRIN are working on the refresh of the Rail Technical Strategy (RTS).

This refresh aims to provide clarity on:

• The key problems, opportunities, and solutions that need industry attention
• The progress needed in the short term to deliver the longer term vision
• The work needed around insertion points, in-service pilots and roll out plans in order to achieve success

Delegates who attended the UKRRIN Annual Conference on 21 November,  and or the Technical Leadership Group Plenary meeting on 22 November, were introduced to the current thinking and draft materials developed so far.  These events provided fantastic opportunities for the cross-industry team working on the RTS Refresh, to get invaluable feedback and input. These contributions are currently being processed and draft materials will be updated to reflect your thoughts and comments.

There is however, still time to get involved before this refresh is complete.  In light of this, an introduction to the RTS Refresh and draft materials are now available for you to download (please see below).

We welcome your feedback  on the draft content,  and are keen to hear about any initiatives and activities relating to the five key challenges presented below. You will find two feedback forms at the bottom of this page which can be used to submit your comments and information.
