Reliable and Easy to Maintain
The Rail Technical Strategy (RTS), identifies five priorities that are key to the future of the railway and require a step change in the technical solutions. This webinar, the fourth in a series addressing each of the five identified priorities, will focus on ‘Reliable and easy to maintain’.
More reliable assets needing less out-of-service time are key to increased customer confidence and demand. Lower whole-life asset costs and increased understanding of how humans and machines can best work together, will help establish a thriving sector. The ‘Reliable and easy to maintain’ priority sets out industry goals to see reliability and availability maximised by design, remote and automatic inspection, and targeted inventions, while whole-life cost is reduced.
With a keynote address from Dyan Crowther Chief Executive Officer, HS1, join us to explore a selection of activity underway in this space and engage with this RTS functional priority and its routemap in more detail.
