The Rail Technical Strategy (RTS), identifies five priorities that are key to the future of the railway and require a step change in the technical solutions. This webinar, the last in a series addressing each of the five identified priorities, will focus on ‘Data Driven’.
Overcoming the barriers to greater awareness and exploitation of the industry’s data assets will unlock a multitude of new opportunities to better serve customers, drive efficiency and target further technological progress. The ‘Data driven’ priority sets out goals for data, recognised as a highly valuable asset, to have fit for purpose governance, access arrangements, systems and technical skills. These building blocks underpin the progression of all the other functional priorities which each have their own specific data requirements and opportunities.
