The University of Huddersfield together with Politecnico Milano (POLIMI) will be holding the 2020 Rolling Stock Summer School in Lecco, Italy from the 31st of August to the 4th of September 2020. We would like to invite students starting a PhD in the area of railway engineering or engineers beginning a career in this field to participate in this event.
We are delighted to have an excellent team of speakers from Universities and Industry and we aim to provide an introduction to the topic of railway rolling stock as well as examples and exercises and also to allow participants to make contacts and build networks which will help them in their future careers.
In line with these aims, we have tried to keep the cost to a minimum (speakers and organisers are donating their time, we have some sponsorship from IAVSD, and we do not plan to make a profit). So, we hope that it will be possible for anyone who can benefit to consider participation.
