RIA’s Unlocking Innovation series is starting the year 2020 with a closer look at rail infrastructure, with dedicated sessions on innovations in Materials, Automation, Data and Energy. Part of UK Rail Research and Innovation Network (UKRRIN), the Unlocking Innovation events bring the latest technology, ideas and innovations to a diverse audience to share, learn from each other and form new partnerships.
Unlocking Innovation M.A.D.E. for Infrastructure is hosted by UKRRIN’s Centre of Excellence in Infrastructure, which is led by the University of Southampton, home to the recently opened National Infrastructure Laboratory. The NIL houses world leading facilities including a large structures testing laboratory, a 6m diameter geotechnical centrifuge, and geotechnical and materials testing laboratories.
The event will have four themed sessions with a variety of fast-paced presentations from major rail suppliers, clients, researches and SME’s. The spaces are limited, so do register early to guarantee your place at the event!
Please note registrations will close on 19 February 2020 at 10:00.
If you are interested in presenting your innovation at the event, please send you proposal to milda.manomaityte@riagb.org.uk for consideration.
The event is free and open to all to attend, please register and below and we look forward seeing you in February!
