MxV Rail is delighted to announce the 14th World Congress on Railway Research – WCRR 2025, will be held 17-21 November in Colorado Springs, USA.
Held every three years, the World Congress of Railway Research (WCRR) is the world’s largest international congress on railway research, providing the best forum for the gathering of researchers, technical experts and industry leaders championing innovation.
In 2025, the World Congress of Railway Research (WCRR) will be collocated with the International Heavy Haul Association (IHHA) Conference for the first joint conference gathering.
Bringing together leading freight and passenger rail experts across the globe to share perspectives on the challenges facing rail now and into the future, this unique and historic collaboration will be celebrated under the event banner Rail Research Week.
Call for abstracts
The Organizing Committee for the WCRR 2025 are calling for papers to address the 2025 theme: ’Innovative and resilient railways’.
Sub themes
WCRR 2025 will be structured around seven session topics that demonstrate how research is delivering benefit against key railway objectives, covering a full range of beneficiaries, from individual users to society as a whole.
